Coffee Milkshake

Coffee Milkshake is a super simple and refreshing summer beverage that combines the boldness of coffee with the sweetness of creamy ice cream. It's the perfect cool drink to have on a hot summer day and can be made in less than 5 minutes!


What You’ll Need:

  • Frozen Milk: Plain milk that has been filled into an ice tray and frozen a day in advance to making your milkshake. Adding Frozen milk makes the milkshake frosty and thick.
  • Instant Coffee Powder: Instant coffee provides the deep, rich coffee taste without the need to brew it. It provides a perfect coffee flavor to the milkshake.
  • Sugar: Plain granulated sugar, of course 'for sweetness'. Adjust the quantity of sugar according to your taste preference.
  • Vanilla Ice Cream: It provides a rich, creamy and smooth texture to the milkshake. Vanilla is ideal for use with coffee, bringing out its flavor without overwhelming it.

How to Make:

  • Blend Coffee Powder, Sugar and Frozen Milk: First, add 1 to 2 tablespoons of instant coffee powder, 1 to 3 tablespoons of sugar, frozen milk cubes to the blender and blend well. Pour 250 ml of milk into an ice tray the day before and keep it in the freezer to cool it down. If you are using pasteurized milk, you can freeze it as is. Otherwise, boil it well, cool it completely, then freeze it. Notes: If the frozen milk cubes are getting stuck or not blending properly, add a little chilled milk ( ¼ to ½ cup ) and blend well.
  • Add Vanilla Ice Cream: When the milk cubes are well blended, add in 3-4 scoops of vanilla ice cream and blend everything well.
  • Serving: Transfer it into 2 large serving glasses, sprinkle a little coffee powder or boost on top, and serve immediately.

Tips & Tricks to Enhance the Flavor:

  • Chill the Glass: To add an extra touch of refreshment, chill your glass in the freezer for a few minutes before serving.
  • Sprinkle with a Pinch of Coffee Powder Or Boost: Sprinkle a pinch of coffee powder or Boost on the top of the milkshake to enhance the taste and more coffee chocolaty flavor.
  • Sprinkle with a Pinch of Cinnamon: Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on the top of the milkshake, which will impart a warm and spicy taste over the coffee.
  • Use More Coffee Powder: If you prefer a strong coffee flavor, don't hesitate to add some more instant coffee powder.
  • Add Chocolate: For chocolate-coffee flavor, add a spoonful of chocolate syrup or cocoa powder. This makes it taste like a mocha milkshake!
  • Try Different Ice Cream Flavors: Don't be afraid to experiment with chocolate or caramel ice cream to make a different flavor.

Ingredients

  3. After that, add in the frozen milk cubes and blend well. If the frozen milk cubes are getting stuck and not blending properly, add a little chilled milk ( ¼ to ½ cup ) and blend well. Pour 250 ml of milk into an ice tray the day before and keep it in the freezer to cool it down. If you are using pasteurized milk, you can freeze it as is. Otherwise, boil it well, cool it completely, and then freeze it.
  4. Once the milk cubes are well blended, add 3-4 scoops of vanilla ice cream to it and blend well.
  5. Now transfer it into 2 large serving glasses, sprinkle a little coffee powder or boost on top,
  6. Serve immediately and Enjoy.
