Fish Fingers

Ingredients
  • Fish Fillet - 500 Grams, skinless and boneless
  • Vegetable Oil, to deep fry
  • Breadcrumbs, as required
For Marination:
  • Pepper Powder - 1 Teaspoon, adjust according to your preference
  • Dark Soy Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Red Chilli Sauce - 1 Tablespoon
  • Egg - 1
  • Corn Flour - 1 - 2 Tablespoon
  • Salt, to taste; Approx: 1/2 to 3/4 Teaspoon
Directions
    Initial Preparation:
    1. Clean and wash the Fish fillet, then cut it into finger sized pieces.
    2. Pat dry the fish pieces by using a kitchen paper towel to absorb the water completely.
    3. In a bowl, add in the fish pieces and the ingredients mentioned under 'For Marination' and mix well.
    4. Set aside for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Fish Fingers Preparation:
    1. Take enough breadcrumbs in a plate, then roll each fish pieces into the breadcrumbs.
    2. After rolling, gently press each fish piece with your palm and get it coated well. This will prevent the coating from falling apart while frying.
    3. Continue the process to coat all the fish pieces and set aside.
    Frying Fish Fingers:
    1. Heat enough oil to deep fry in a heavy bottomed pan.
    2. Once the oil is hot, add the prepared fish pieces in small batches and deep fry until golden brown on medium heat . When deep fried, the fish will cook well within 1 to 2 minutes.
    3. Once the fish fingers are fried well, transfer to a plate and serve hot. Enjoy :)
