Ingredients
- Pearl Spot Fish - 2 medium sized, approx: 500 Grams
- Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 Tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
- Black Pepper Powder - 3/4 Teaspoon
- Curry leaves - 2 sprig
- Coconut Oil, to fry
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Clean the fish, make 3-4 gashes on each side of the fish. Wash properly and drain the water completely, set aside.
- Mix together the Kashmiri chili Powder, Turmeric Powder, Black Pepper Powder, salt and make a fine paste.
- Then apply it on the fish, don't forget to apply the masala in the gashes and inside the stomach cavity. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat enough coconut oil in a pan.
- Add two sprigs of curry leaves to it, place the marinated fish on top of it.
- Fry on medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Then remove it from the oil and serve hot.
